It is with regret that the walking football competition that was going to take place on Saturday the 19th of August will now take place later in the year
The reason is purely on the grounds of health and safety.
At 5pm yesterday the temperature was 44 degrees, even though the forecast was supposed to peak to 35 degrees at 3pm.
Therefore it is only prudent to re schedule the competition for when it is cooler.
Apologies to those who had made plans, however as soon as we have the date for the next competition you will be notified.

The council of Casevel (Casevel is a 1.5 hour drive north from the Algarve – Click here for a map) is having a 3-day festival. On Saturday 19th August, there will be a 5-a-side WF competition.
We are looking for teams to play. The kick-off is at 5 pm. The pitch is a 5-a-side pitch on concrete.
There are medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus free food and the experience of life in the Alentejo.
