The Danish Prostate Survivors have hired the pitch at Moncarapacho for a normal football session on Monday 21st October from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

The 1st Lagos Walking Football Tournament is nearly upon us.
It is with deep regret that we have to announce the sudden death of Steve Williams at Walking Football in Olhão on the 26th September.
Despite the valiant efforts of EAWF members present and the subsequent prompt and highly professional attention of SNS paramedics, Steve failed to recover.
We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Angela, family and friends.
Okay folks, we now have the fixtures etc for the Vilamoura tournament next week on October 4th and 5th

Bubbly and homemade cakes were the order of the day as players, officials and friends toasted the 5th anniversary of walking football being introduced to the Algarve in September 2014. Since then hundreds of players have enjoyed some wonderful moments of fun, fitness and friendship whilst along the way a number of tournament victories have been the icing on the cake!
Walking football sessions at Tavira will now be on a Friday morning from September 27th 2019 onwards.

We will be cracking open a few bottles of bubbly at Olhao after the walking football session on Thursday 19th September to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the introduction of walking football to the Algarve.
For the next few months, EAWF will be raising funds and awareness in respect of diabetes. The fund raising will be from raffles and events organised by EAWF and a “one off” awareness event.
