Sponsorship and new jackets
We have had a significant number of orders for the new jackets. We are therefore looking for additional sponsors to keep the cost per jacket as low as possible.
If you are interested, or know someone or a company that would be interested, in sponsorship and having their logo on the jacket, please contact Steve Johnson or Jonathan Syed.
Memorial Service for Brian Caldwell
There will be a memorial service for Brian Caldwell on Thursday May 29th at 3 pm at Cacela Velha Church, followed by drinks at Fabrica, near Vila Nova de Cacela – The Kiosk. See https://bit.ly/4k1zH9f for more.
Player Insurance
We have been asked a few times recently about player insurance. The club does not provide insurance for players and we would advise that anyone who wants to have insurance cover should take out a private policy for same. We will leave it up to the individual to decide on the cover they require.
Increase in session subs
Since the start of East Algarve Walking Football (EAWF) 10 years ago the price per session has always remained at €3.
Brian Caldwell
It is with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Brian in Faro Hospital this morning (17th February).
Celebration Lunch
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of S.O.S. Olhão playing the first International Walking Football match against C.R.A.P. Farnborough, a celebration lunch has been organised.
