In these difficult times, we are pleased to promote the opening of a charity shop in Tavira – Tavira 2nd Chance.
After the latest round of measures introduced by the authorities (and especially in light of Faro and Tavira being added to São Bras in the high-risk areas) we have sought clarification about travel between municipalities.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and the public, East Algarve Walking Football is pleased to announce another donation, providing €350 of food for Algarve families in need.
Local families are having to choose food over presents this year. In response to this the Associacao Causa Vibrante in collaboration with the Centre Algarve and the Casa do Povo, Moncarapacho, will be looking to collect children’s presents and clothing to give to the families that need support.
Due to the travel restrictions in place this weekend, tomorrows session at Olhão (November 2nd) has been cancelled but will start again from November 9th.

Apologies to tell you all this, but our sessions are going to have to change again!
East Algarve Walking Football (EAWF) and East Algarve Football Club (EAFC) are pleased to announce we have funded two children from the Faro area to give them the opportunity to experience a year of horse riding to help with their disabilities.
We can now announce that sessions in Tavira are starting again from Tuesday October 20th.

Our sessions for next week, commencing October 5th, will carry on as they are now, i.e. all in Olhão from 9.30 to 11.30 am on Monday (for the over 50s), Tuesday (for the over 60s), Wednesday (for running football) and Thursday (for the over 50s again).

Since its formation, East Algarve Walking Football (EAWF) and more recently East Algarve Football Club (EAFC) has helped with many various charities. This year a Charity Committee has been formed to continue with this work.
