First running football session a success

Today, Wednesday November 22nd, saw the first of (hopefully) a weekly session of normal rules running football. We only had 8 players turn up, but those that did had a great run out in good weather for a couple of hours. “Free” April extending to “Two Euro” May

Due to the increased numbers now taking part at both Olhao and Tavira, we have decided to reduce the normal session fees for May. Following on from the free sessions in April, all sessions at Tavira and Olhao will now only be €2 (instead of the usual €3) for the month of May.

Thank you for your continued support

Extended session in Tavira in preparation for the Albufeira tournament…..

With the tournament now only a few weeks away, we are extending the session in Tavira on Monday Feb 13th to get all of the players together to discuss rules, tactics, positions etc. The session will take place as normal from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, and then we have booked the pitch for an extra hour until 12.30. Can we ask all 30 players involved to try and make it along (at least for the last hour). Thank you!

Stay safe on the way to Tavira sessions

A quick heads up for those who go to the Tavira sessions; apparently the level crossing by the Velha Nora roundabout just off the EN125 is closed until the 1st October for a total makeover. A number of cyclists/bikers have come off their machines due to the misalignment of the railway tracks. If you travel to WF in Tavira via this route please take extra care, or find an alternative route. Stay safe out there kids!
