This Thursday, 28th May, the garden at the Black Anchor Irish Bar in Tavira will be available to EAWF members to pop in and say hello and have a farewell drink with Mick Corrigan, plus pay any money they promised us via the voucher schemes or scratchcards.

East Algarve Walking Football (EAWF), having already supported two local cafes in Olhão used by the players and given financial support to several individuals associated with Sporting Clube Olhanense, have now initiated a scheme to supply those in need with basic food stuffs, cleaning products, toiletries, hygiene products, animal feed, infant items such as nappies and much, much more.

ITV are showing the 1987 FA Cup Final between Coventry and Spurs on Saturday 2nd May at 5 pm, featuring the EAWF legend Brian ‘Killer’ Kilcline.
Following on from our successful voucher schemes for O Cantinho and The Hairy Lemon, several members of EAWF who are regulars at Somewhere Else – Dave’s Bar in Tavira are underwriting a similar scheme supported by EAWF to help them with their cash flow.
Following on from the very successful voucher scheme we organised to help out our friends at O Cantinho in Tavira, we are launching a similar effort to help Clive and Lorraine at the Hairy Lemon in Cabanas.
EAWF has received brilliant responses from both individuals and groups in our appeal to raise funds for local businesses and through East Algarve Families in Need here in the east Algarve in light of the covid-19 pandemic.
