Although aimed primarily at the 65+ age group, this new concept is also open to anyone with mobility issues or recovering from injury.

Thank you for your support and let’s hope we can build on the numbers. Hopefully see you in future weeks.
For those of us septuagenarians looking to continue playing Walking Football without the fear of being tackled and damaging our ageing bodies.
Due to the upcoming Public Holiday and Vilamoura and Albufeira tournaments, there are some changes to our sessions over the next fortnight.

Due to Tavira being closed again this Thursday, the session on Thursday June 24th for over 50s will be held in Olhão in the morning (9.30 am to 11.30 am). Sorry for messing you all about again.
Due to Bank Holidays on the next two Thursdays (June 3rd and June 10th) and the subsequent closure of the facilities at Tavira on these days, the Thursday Tavira sessions are being moved to Olhão and will take place in the morning.
These two sessions will therefore take place at 9.30 AM on the normal Olhanense pitch. Normal Tavira times will apply from June 17th onwards (at 9.30 PM).
The two running sessions on Tuesday evenings are not affected.
We have just had confirmation that we can use the pitch in Tavira again from next week, but because of COVID vaccinations during the day the only availability is in the evening from 9.30 pm until 11 pm.

Further to the recommencement of our sessions, please could you continue to bring both a yellow and a red shirt/bib to sessions. We will not be using communal bibs going forward.
We have ordered some reversible yellow/red bibs for those who did not previously get the right coloured bibs, but for now please ensure you bring both with you.
Thank you.
A massive thank you to Charlie and everyone who helped out today; we now have new nets ready for you at Olhanense in preparation for resumption of activities next week.
