€500 has been donated by East Algarve Walking Football for the purchase of 25 sleeping bags. These are to be given to the homeless people of Olhão. The sleeping bags were handed over to Anita Van Huson, who works with homeless people charities in the Algarve.

In addition to the €400 raised for the bombeiros at our Christmas Dinner, the 2 bowlers Graham and Bob finished their 24-hour marathon bowl at 7 am this morning.
In addition, the EAWF cycling group managed to raise more than €350 at The Old Barrel last night! A special thanks to Clive, Lorraine and all their customers for their generosity.
We have now raised enough for a onboard computer for one of the Tavira engines.

This week the club will be supporting two of our friends from Pedras da Rainha Bowling Club; Graham and Bob will be attempting a marathon 24-hour bowl on the 7th December to mark Graham’s 70th birthday.
