Since its formation, East Algarve Walking Football (EAWF) and more recently East Algarve Football Club (EAFC) has helped with many various charities. This year a Charity Committee has been formed to continue with this work.
With just over 2 months to go to the date when we would usually hold our annual Xmas bash, it would be reasonable to say that currently we are not making any plans to hold a party in December this year.
“I have taken the decision to step back, for the foreseeable future, from my commitments with East Algarve Walking Football, SC Olhanense, Centre Algarve and media reporting.
It is our intention, subject to any further restrictions imposed by the local or national authorities, to return to our pre-Covid-19 schedule.
We now have a limited supply of EAWF face masks available in large and medium sizes in black. Red masks coming soon… Price is €4 each with all monies going to the Charity Fund thanks to the kind sponsorship of Sports Banger. Stay Safe.
In an attempt to consolidate numbers into one session, there will be no more training on Wednesdays.

You may recall that we are holding our bi-annual tournament in Olhão on 15–16 October 2020, and we have clubs coming from the UK, Spain and Portugal.
Unfortunately we have been informed that playing is still not possible due to COVID-19 and so training will continue as is for now. A further review will be made on August 1st as far as we have been told.
