The football pitch in Casével has hosted five games of walking football this year, with interest growing each session. We are sorry to inform you that June, wife of John Gallagher, passed away on Wednesday 20th July 2022 after a lengthy battle with cancer. John was a regular WF player in the early days at Olhão, and he and June were always good company at EAWF social events. When June’s diagnosis was confirmed they returned to the UK and took up residence in Portishead near Bristol. Our sincere condolences to John and the family at this very difficult time.

Unfortunately we don’t know definitively until the day itself, but it is likely to be for the remainder of July and all of August. It does apply to tomorrow (July 12th).
