Finally the spring weather arrived, and a glorious sunny day welcomed the 16 teams to the Browns Walking Football Tournament, held in Vilamoura, on May 4th and 5th, 2018.
Wednesday session on Wednesday, May 2nd…
As we have the tournament this Friday and Saturday, the Wednesday session at Tavira this week (May 2nd) will be walking football (and not the usual running variety).

East Algarve Walking Football is at the forefront of the sport in Portugal and, after welcoming numerous UK teams to the region, they will be travelling to Marbella, Spain on the 10th/11th May for their first foreign foray. 2018 Albufeira Walking Football Cup
Following on from our success at last year’s tournament, East Algarve Walking Football (EAWF) entered four teams for the third Albufeira Walking Football Cup, held on Monday and Tuesday 19th/20th March 2018: Olhao A and B, and Tavira A and B. Thus 40 hardy souls from the Eastern Algarve joined those from Lagos (Boavista) and Vilamoura (Browns), plus our friends from the Silver Coast near Lisbon (with two teams), along with 5 teams from the UK (Sheffield United, Oxford United, our old friends Brackley Saints A and B, and a representative UK team calling themselves TG Algarve). 2018 Olhao International Walking Football Tournament
The inaugural Olhao International Walking Football Tournament will be held on Thursday 15th to Friday 16th November 2018
