EAWF/EAFC Charity Group Update
Membership of our charity group has recently undergone many changes following a couple of members stepping down and a repatriation (Nobby !).
Monday Olhão sessions
After discussion with the participants at todays Monday Olhão session, it has been decided that Mondays will be suspended until January 9th 2023.
€600 raised for charity at the Xmas Dinner
We raised €600 for Tavira Second Chance at the Christmas Party; this will buy Christmas presents for underprivileged children. Thank you for all your support.
Gibraltar visit EAWF
East Algarve Walking Football (EAWF) welcomed over 60 and over 70 walking football teams from Gibraltar on Tuesday 22nd November and Thursday 24th November, 2022.
Friday non-contact sessions over Christmas
Due to the Christmas holidays etc. there will be no Friday non-contact sessions in Olhão on December 23rd or December 30th.
Non-contact Friday Group First Anniversary at Olhão
From small beginnings a year ago, when we had four participants, we are now attracting more players who cannot afford to take tumbles or knocks (which probably means Charlie will never be able to join us!)
